New Swift has grown slightly in length (+90mm) with a 50mm increase in wheelbase. The interior design now has a more dynamic feel, featuring black as its keynote colour with accents of silver throughout the car. Increased track and larger diameter wheels with lower profile tyres allow for even better handling than the already highly acclaimed outgoing Suzuki Swift that first went on sale in 2005.

 This latest body design has also helped improve impact safety for pedestrians as well as occupants. Extensive use of higher strength steel makes the new bodyshell lighter and stiffer than before as well as offering refinement in underbody design. The all-new Suzuki Swift is positioned as Suzuki's latest world strategic model and makes strong developments in styling, impact safety, driving performance, handling, improved fuel consumption and significantly lower emissions. Suzuki held the world premiere line off ceremony for mass production of the new car at its Magyar Suzuki Corporation production facility at Esztergom, in Hungary.  Suzuki is pleased to announce the first images and preliminary information of the new, third generation Suzuki Swift which goes on sale in the UK in the Autumn of 2010.

PT Indomobil Suzuki Sales as sole distributor of Suzuki cars in Indonesia plan to launch Suzuki Splash, the mini MPV into national auto market by next week on Sunday, March 21, 2010. The present of new car is completing Suzuki line up in city car and hatchback segment of Karimun Estillo 1.0-litre and Swift 1.5-litre. The new car of Suzuki Splash are designated for young couples or families was armed with a 1200 cc engine that able to produce maximum power 85 PS @ 6000 rpm and maximum torque 13 Nm @ 4500 rpm. Suzuki Splash was born in Europe and design by Suzuki Germany research engineer.

 Off course, makes this new car looks modern, dynamic design, and stylish, fit for young couples. The center of attention are headlamp, sporty grille, luxury bonnet, rear lamps, and 15-inch alloy wheels. In interior of this city car, the cabin space of Suzuki Splash which look less privileged enough to the size of a mini MPV. This is because a high dimension and spacious cabin of this city car.

 Suzuki Splash has the dimensions of length 3715 mm, width 1680 mm, height 1620 mm and Wheelbase 2360 mm. Meanwhile, the trunk space is so spacious that able to reach 531 liters when the second seat folded. The point of interest in interior is tachometer that put on dashboard and the gear shift lever together with the center console. Especially in GL type, audio player has CD/MP3 player with Bluetooth connections.

 The suspension of Suzuki Splash is MacPherson struts with coil springs in front and torsion beam with coil Spring in the rear that makes comfort for all passenger. With the tag line “Go Onwards”, Splash marketed at attractive prices Rp. 139,000,000.- for type ST (standard) and Rp. 145,000,000 for the GL type. Unfortunately, Suzuki Splash only available in manual type, there is no automatic variant.

  In national auto market, Suzuki Splash will compete with Daihatsu Sirion, Proton Savvy, Hyundai i10, and Kia Picanto.
